Government & Building Committees

Housing Advocacy - work with community officials on building code and land development issues. To identify issues of importance to our membership and advocate for change, while advancing the home building industry’s image & the HBAGGR public awareness.

Meets quarterly, immediately following Legislative Breakfasts


Urban Development Committee - work with community officials on building code and land development issues. To identify issues of importance to our membership and advocate for change, while advancing the home building industry’s image & the HBAGGR public awareness.

Membership Committees

Membership Committee - develop recruiting initiatives, carry out the retention program as well as develop and communicate benefit programs.

Meets monthly, 7:30am meetings on the 3rd Wednesday


Leadership Development Committee - to engage members in leadership positions, develop future board of director prospects, and assist in leadership development.

Meets monthly July through December, 7:30am meetings


Education Committee - develop educational programs for those in the building industry.

Meets bi-monthly, 8:30am on the second Thursday

Event Committees

Parade of Homes Committee - monitor & implement policies & develop ideas & incentives for the Spring & Fall Parade of Homes.

Meets quarterly, 7:30am meetings

Community Outreach Groups & Committees

Community Service Committee – Provide assistance with organizing and implementing Community Repair Days.

Meets every other month, 10:30am meetings


Next Generation Committee – to create a successful student chapter; and to strengthen partnership between the HBA and local education partners, connecting new professionals with programs and future employers through the HBA.

Meets every other month, 7:30am meetings


Marketing & Public Relations Committee – to establish a public relations plan and improve media relations for the HBA in order to advance the home building industry’s image, housing market news presence, and to increase our community awareness.

Meets quarterly, 4:00pm meetings

Home Builders Association Foundation - 501C3 Opportunities

HBA Foundation Board of Directors - Directs the Foundation, a 501c3 charitable arm of the HBA that provides community service grants and scholarships.

Meets quarterly, 9:30am meetings


Foundation Special Events Committee - Plan and promote the HBA Foundation’s annual fundraiser. Solicit donations and supporters, and determine award recipients for the Home Builders Care and Community Builder Awards given out at the event.

Meets monthly July through March, 12pm lunch meetings

Hbaggr Councils (Council Membership Fee Required)

Green BuiltTM - Promote the benefits of green building through education and advocacy to the building industry and the general public($225).

Meets quarterly, 9:30am meetings


RemodelorsTM Council - Promote growth and professionalism in the remodeling industry ($100).

Meets quarterly, 9:30am meetings
