The annual Fall Parade of Homes presented by the Home Builders Association and sponsored by Option One Credit Union opens two weeks from today, October 4, and runs through October 19. The HBA of Greater Grand Rapids and their members will showcase 36 total homes, including 4 virtual homes throughout West Michigan.
“We see an increased number of Parade entries, which is a sure sign that the housing industry is coming back. Our builder members are working closely with the associate members to showcase some great products and craftsmanship. We have homes all around the Greater Grand Rapids area, from lakefront properties to downtown Grand Rapids” says Emily Siebert, HBAGGR Executive Officer. “It has been a very busy year for builders, and with inventory of existing homes still low, it is a great time to build a new home and get everything you are looking for.”
The Parade will feature homes from 11 different communities including, Ada, Allendale, Belmont, Byron Center, Caledonia, East Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids, Hudsonville, Rockford, South Haven, and Wyoming. With prices ranging from $150,000 to over $2 million, visitors will enjoy the latest trends in building styles, using green practices, custom details, unique floor coverings, the latest wall treatments, quality products, and landscaping. Touring the Parade of Homes, you will see how these professionals creatively blend design and luxury to maximize a homes potential.
The Parade opens Friday, October 4 and continues through October 19. Homes are open for touring Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 1- 8 pm.
